Founded in 2023, Rumblin’ on the River Showdown is a 501c3 non-profit organization, dedicated to providing an extremely high-caliber livestock show with a wholesome and positive image.

Together, the committee consists of local livestock producers who have decades of experience being involved with and participating in livestock shows. As a whole, we know what it takes to put on a livestock show and are dedicated to making this an elite event.

In 2023, we welcomed beef cattle, swine, sheep & goat exhibitors fram LaSalle County, Ill. and neighboring counties to participate in the showdown. In 2024 and 2025, we opened the showdown to youth exhibitors throughout Illinois. In 2026, we are eager to open up our show to exhibitors outside of Illinois as well. Additionally, our show is a points-sanctioned show for all four species.

We are thankful to our exhibitors and families that continue to spend just a few days of their summer with us at our showdown. And without our sponsors, we would not be able to continue to grow this event and support our youth exhibitors.
